Pictures of the Homecoming participants will be taken at the following times on the gymnasium stage. These pictures will be used to complete the Homecoming pages in the yearbook; therefore, your promptness and attendance will be much appreciated. Advance purchase of an email packet of the candidate’s/attendant's photos will be $5 during the photo shoot (2 poses).

Attention Bakersfield MS & HS Students! Join us on Friday, February 27, for our annual Rock-a-Thon! This event is open to all Bksfd MS/HS students. Honor Society members can earn up to 8 hours towards their service hours by attending. We will be raising money for the Robb Laxton Scholarship by rocking the night away (with a 10 minute break every hour)!! Students must bring their own rocking chair!

Hello all, this year we had an extra shipment of meat sticks, and we are having a super sale on them starting today.
They must be sold, and they will never be this cheap again! 30ct. bags are just $30 dollars (normally $38). We have Habanero, Peppered, Teriyaki, BBQ, and Bacon flavors in stock. First-come, first-served availability. If you would like to purchase snack sticks please visit Carrie in the high school office. (Sold as 30ct bags only, will not mix and match flavors)

CORRECTION. The 5th/6th boys practice will be on the 12th as previously scheduled. Sorry for the incorrect post. NOT the 13th.
Due to a scheduling conflict there will be NO 5th/6th basketball practice today, 2-10-26. The boys will practice on 2-13-26 from 3:45 to 5:00 and girls will not practice because of city league games. Practice schedule for next week will be out soon.
There will be NO Home games on Monday February 9th due to a scheduling conflict. That game will NOT be rescheduled. Homecoming this Friday February 13th. Coronation starts at 5.

We will be in session tomorrow! Please be cautious when driving and watch for places where water thawing today may freeze on roadways tonight. There is a patch at gym entrance and at the intersection of O Hwy and 101 where a lot of water thawed and was over the pavement this evening. Be careful, drive slow and be safe!
The boys basketball game at Eminence this Tuesday, February 3rd will be varsity only. The game will start at 5:30pm.
FBLA Districts Update: FBLA Districts has been, once again, postponed and will now take place on Monday, February 9th in Hartville.
There will be no school Friday, January 30. This will be A.M.I. Day #4.
The Big Spring Conference that was scheduled for this week has been postponed. When we have dates rescheduled, a post will be made.
There will be no school Thursday, January 29. This will be A.M.I. Day #3.
There will be no school Tuesday or Wednesday, January 27 and 28. This will be A.M.I. Days 1 and 2.
No votech today. The Big Soring Conference basketball tournament has been rescheduled and more information will come out as a safe date is identified. We hope to be able to have the tournament later this week, but weather and road conditions will be evaluated. Updates will be posted.
