Mrs. Lester's math classes participated in a marshmallow challenge. The teams were given spaghetti, tape, and string. The team that built the tallest tower which held the weight of a marshmallow on top was the winner. Group winners are as follows: Algebra 2: Drystan Hutson, Kenadie Nordyke, & Keely Stevens Algebra 1-4th hour: Tyson Bales, Jett Collins, & Tucker Keith Algebra 1-6th hour: Paxton Cotter, Jayden Daugherty, Aubri Freas, & Bristol Robinson Geometry-7th hour: Sadie Alvarado, Sadie Davidson, & Massey Hayes Geometry-8th hour: Bethany Allen

The High School Athletic Banquet that was scheduled for THIS Thursday evening has been rescheduled. We still have multiple sports competing in post-season activities so we want to make sure all athletes have the chance to be there! We will post here when all sports have completed competitions and a date has been selected.

The FEMA building will be unlocked for those who want to wait out the bad weather.

We are shifting the dates for our 3rd -5th grade volleyball clinic because we want to support HS baseball at districts tomorrow.
We will run two days, May 21 and May 22. 4-5:30 pm at BHS, 2 nets
$20 for one day
$30 for both days
Come play volleyball and help raise funds for the HS volleyball program!
Fun drills to teach basic skills.
Popsicles at the end of each day.

One addition I left off, Mrs. Tackitt's Preschool class is awarding the 3-year-old class certificates at 9:30 in the cafeteria.

We are monitoring the weather and the National Honor Society trip will continue as planned. Middle and High School Awards will be at 8:00 and Elementary will be at 9:00, all in the Jerry Taylor Gymnasium. PreK graduation will be in the FEMA building at 10:30. PTO Fun Field Day activities will continue and adjust (inside or outside) as we monitor the weather.

Mrs. Charline Tiller is at the Sight and Sound Theater in Branson to see a production of "David" with her Bible History class. She is accompanied by Mrs. Beth Pickle, Ms. Legan Tiller, and Mr. Damon Sewell.

Students going with Honor Society on Friday, we will leave 𝘼𝙁𝙏𝙀𝙍 the awards ceremony on Friday, which should be finished around 𝟗:𝟎𝟎 𝐚𝐦.

Seniors, you may pay Friday morning and sign your own waiver if you are 18 years old. Anyone under 18 will need a parent signature on the waiver.

Congratulations to our Lady Lions! They won the first round of districts defeating Mansfield 8 to 0! Come support them tonight as they face Plato at 4:30 at Gainesville!

REMINDER: Grades 3-5 will be going to Blanchard Springs Caverns on Thursday, May 15th. The cost is $0. If students wish to bring money, there is a gift shop where they may purchase items. The bus leaves at 8:00 and will arrive back at school by 3:30. It is important to be at school on time! Remember to wear tennis shoes. No open-toe shoes!
