Lots of activity in the FACS department today. Mrs Pickle's Entrepreneurship class completed a project about Food Trucks by cooking and serving food to Mrs Tefft's and Mrs Tackitt's classes from their own personal "food trucks". Later, the Foods class enjoyed an Easter party after cooking and decorating the classroom. And finally, Deanna Nickason modeled her prom dress that she altered in sewing class.
Bakersfield Scholar Bowl rocked it yesterday at the WRV Conference Tournament! Varsity won every single round, and JV only lost one in the preliminary rounds and in their championship game to take second place in the tournament. Varsity took first!

Spring Sports and Honor Society pictures will be Thursday morning, April 4. We will take: Elementary Basketball, MS Track, MS Volleyball, HS Baseball, HS Softball, HS Track, MS Honor Society, & HS Honor Society. Golf will be taken at a later date.
Softball Varsity game AT Plato tonight. If umpires can come early, game will start at 4:00 due to weather forecast and high chances for lightning and impending strong storms.
Boys Baseball at HOME tonight vs. Gainesville. Original start time is 4:30. If umpires can come early, we will start at 4:15, but this is not confirmed yet. If weather permits, there will be a JV game following the varsity game.
Middle School Track at Mtn. Home has been cancelled.

Title 1 Night is Thursday, the 21st, at 5:30 in the cafeteria. Students will plant their own seeds, decorate a flower pot, and participate in other crafts. Students will also receive a special treat.
All FBLA state bound participants will be taking their objective tests tomorrow, March 19th! The deadline to have these tests taken is by 5pm Wednesday, March 20th.
Also, FBLA has concession stand on Tuesday, March 19th at Pride Park at 4pm!
