Bakersfield R-IV School District will be dismissing at 1:00 today, Wednesday, January 19 due to inclement weather. This will count as a half AMI day for 6th and 7th periods only.
Preschool classes for this week are canceled due to illness. We believe the exposure to students is minimal, however, if your child displays symptoms of COVID, please see your Healthcare provider. Preschool classes will resume Tuesday, January 25.
The girls basketball game for tonight at Cabool Tournament has been canceled because the opponent does not have enough players. Girls should play tomorrow at 7:00pm in the tournament. Boys also play tomorrow, the 18th at Houston Tournament vs Cabool at 5:30.

Girls basketball Monday Jan. 10th at the Jerry Taylor Gymnasium. Starting at 6:00 with half JV followed by the V contest vs. Gainesville.
Boys basketball WILL play tonight at Seymour tournament. JV at 7 vs Dora. V at 8:30 vs Lutie. Girls have practice from 1-3 today.

Out with the old and in with the new! In order to make room for some new books, the library has pulled quite a few older titles off the shelves. Community members are welcome to come take a look, and take home some books! The library will be open Tuesday, January 4-Friday, January 7 from 3:45-6pm. Books are FREE, but donations are welcome!
SCCC (Votech) will resume Monday, January 3,2022. The bus will pull out of the school at 8:15 am
Basketball at Yellville on 12-27, 28 & 29. Girls play at 4, 5:15 & 2:30. Boys play at 5:15, 4 & 3:45. Opponents will be Couch, Lead Hill and Yellville.
Lion basketball for girls on Monday December 20th at Van Buren starting at 5 with JV. Boys at Norwood on Tuesday December 21st starting at 6 with JV. Both V teams will follow the JV in action.
Reminder: Required immunizations should be up to date when we return from Christmas Holidays.
